Career Training Programs

Our programs are developed and refined based upon input from employers, graduates, faculty and students, and are designed to provide the type of knowledge necessary to compete for and maintain entry-level employment. Classes meet days and evenings and are conveniently scheduled for both working and non-working adults. If attended on a full-time basis, programs can typically be completed in as little as 9-20 months. Our program areas focus on applied learning and typically include hands-on instruction in laboratory settings. Many of Sanford-Brown's programs include full-time, unpaid clinical externships. This format is designed to enable the prospective student to prepare for entry into a new career.

Registration or certification requirements for taking and passing national exams are not controlled by Sanford-Brown but by outside agencies and are subject to change by the agency without notice to Sanford-Brown. Therefore, Sanford-Brown cannot guarantee that graduates will be eligible to take certification exams, regardless of their eligibility status upon enrollment. Due to variability in individuals' academic experience prior to coming to Sanford-Brown, Sanford-Brown encourages students to take additional preparatory courses to enhance their ability to pass examinations. As examination content is controlled by outside agencies, Sanford-Brown cannot guarantee that graduates will be able to pass the examinations.
